SEGA Brings Sonic to London Fashion Week

Partnering with fashion label Fyodor Golan, SEGA has brought one of their most iconic characters to London Fashion Week! These Sonic themed exclusive pieces of couture walked the catwalk on September 15th.

Established in 2011, Fyodor Golan is led by Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman. Their backgrounds in Fine Art help the designers bring a fresh approach to fashion. They have previously brought unique collaborations to London Fashion Week, such as My Little Pony, Transformers, Coca-Cola, Post- it, Power Puff Girls and Chupa Chups.

The mix of high fashion and fandom was at an all time high this year. The front row audience of the Somerset House show included a number of UK gaming and fashion lifestyle influencers. The collection entitled ‘Lost & Found’ is inspired by the designers’ desire to raise awareness over the plight of our oceans. They employed manufacturing and materials which help to eliminate the use of plastic. While also layering their garments with recycled materials.

The partnership with Sonic was designed to bring an iconic and nostalgic familiarity and playfulness, which is very much a trademark of the FG brand. You know who else has partnered with SEGA? Us! Our officially licensed Sonic nail wraps were a pleasure to design. We have four different nerd manicure designs all inspired by the legendary world of Sonic. All of which would work perfectly with Fyodor Golan's creations!
