Gaige's Robo Arm Tutorial...Boop!
This may not be the absolute best or most impressive way to approach Gaige's robotic arm, but it doesn't cost a ton and is manageable for nearly any skill level. It's flexible, looks legit, and is perfect for high-fiving!
Get some stuff:
Optional (for easier pattern making):
Not so optional:
Put some stuff together and make things:
*Note: Plasti Dip has some fierce fumes...I would recommend a mask and spraying in an area with good ventilation.
*Note: I sometimes cheat and pop my smaller pieces directly into the freezer after molding them to shape. It only takes a few seconds for them to cool and they seem to hold their shape like Kablam!
*Note: There are extra steps and materials needed to achieve super shiny armor, but Gaige's robo arm isn't a sparkling, new piece of machinery, now is it?!?!!
*Note: Hot glue is hot. You might consider wrapping your arm in aluminum foil if you can still pull your glove on over it. I sustained minor injuries. Gaige cut her own arm off...I figured I was merely getting into character.
...BEHOLD!!!!!! YOU NOW HAVE YOUR VERY OWN BIONIC ARM OF BADASSERY!!!!
Photo by Unknown. Will the real sly photog please stand up? Please stand up.
*FINAL NOTE: If your arm does not summon Deathtrap, revert back to step #1.

Sometimes you stumble upon a rare and mystical force in your lifetime. Much like the Unicorn, it may be awe-inspiring, beautiful, and full of a spirited energy that makes your heart smile. Their soul seems to sparkle. Becka Noel is one such creature. I've had the pleasure of meeting, frolicking about, and even cosplaying alongside this glorious humanoid and I cannot even begin to convey my love for her. She is a kind-hearted, genuine, and talented young lady and I beseech all of you to take a gander at her large and impressive line of work! Also, be on the look out in 2017 for her cosplay fantasy patterns in collaboration with Cosplay by McCall's!
Now that I've gushed a bit, let's dive into one of her past projects that seems to be bouncing back into the limelight with the popularity of Pokémon GO! Cubone, one of Becka's favorite Pokémon, captured her heart with his iconic bone mask and tragic story. Like many of us, she just wants to love the heck out of him and make it all better! So, she decided to bring his little mask to life and inject some joy into his persona! She created a small herd of Cubone masks and was nice enough to film a short tutorial video for those looking to create their own here.

(Bonus: Cubone mask is kitty approved.)
Also at the top of Becka's most adored Pokémon list is Eevee! Eevee's teeny voice and wee size was enough to tug at her heart strings and win her over! This adoration is clearly reflected in her astonishingly intricate and unique costume rendition of Eevee. She partnered up with Gladzy Kei Art & Cosplay to design these playful Eeveelutions mixed with a dash of Nordic Valkyrie. While each stunning lady constructed her own costume, all weapons were designed by Zach Fischer Illustration. Feast your eyes on these fierce and formidable maidens!

Inspired by customer and Queen of Makeup Storage Hacks Kim B., make your brushes easily accessible with the help of a buddy who is all bones!
What You'll Need:
- Skull Planter
- Vase Filler Gem Glass
- Your brushes
When you acquire the items, just fill the skull planter of your choice with the vase filler until an inch is left of the planter. Once you do, arrange your brushes in the skull planter with the handle side wedged in the vase filler.

Repair tools you'll need:
Rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl or higher) in a spray bottle or an eye dropper.
Coin the size of your eyeshadow (we used a quarter!)
Thin tissue, paper towel, or piece of fabric.
Alcohol is extremely pure and has a high evaporation rate--it helps to rebind the powder without changing the makeup much and will also dry down allowing the makeup to be used again. Don’t over saturate! You don’t want eyeshadow soup, but a paste-like consistency. Use just enough to soften the product so the broken bits form together again.
Use a toothpick, spatula, back of a spoon, butter knife, or even a bobby pin to mix everything together and smooth the product out along the top.
Tap it a few times to get any air bubbles out. Then, wrap your quarter up in a paper towel or tissue and use it to press the shadow back into the pan.
This will re-firm the product and get it re-pressed. Allow it to dry overnight and booyah! It’s not perfect, but it’s better than being shattered and is perfectly usable.
