Faheema Chaudhury, a bubbly illustrator and jewelry designer, fueled by sugar, has been drawing since she was a young girl. Her days were spent sketching, watching cartoons and playing outside with her older sister in their San Fernando Valley apartment.

Fast forward a few years to college where Faheema studied art at UC Berkeley, spent a semester abroad in Paris and returned to work as a darkroom manager and black and white photo instructor at a public art space, surrounded by creativity. In 2010, a family tragedy led her to move back to Southern California and find solace in art and serendipitously start her own business, Unicorn Crafts.

Unicorn Crafts is heavily influenced by Faheema’s personality – whatever she loves is obvious because it’s clearly reflected in the pieces she creates. Whimsical, wearable wonders made from her illustrations to remind you that you’re never too old to be a kid at heart.

One of her favorite ways to describe her art is, “If you look at my work and don’t get a cavity from how cute it is, I didn’t do my job.”

Too cute!

I used these on my toes to pretty up before Pilates class - they went on quickly and easily, and they're just too darn cute. There might have been an actual squee of surprise when walking down my dark hallway shortly after application and seeing them glow in the dark!
